Creating Sustainable Landscapes

Serving

Wisconsin and Minnesota

My approach to landscape design is grounded in a combination of years as a sustainable landscape designer and farmer.

By utilizing eco-friendly techniques, we can create landscapes that not only enhance your outdoor spaces but also contribute to the well-being of your property.

About My Work:
As a landscape designer I am passionate about creating outdoor spaces that reflect my clients' visions while also considering our changing world and climate. Working with plants and design allows me to create landscapes that harmonize with nature.

My plans are user-friendly for both homeowners and professionals to install. I encourage my clients to plant and maintain their gardens and I'm happy to work with them every step of the way.

I pay close attention to what my clients want and blend it with the natural features of the site to create designs that support biodiversity.

About Me:

I grew up both playing on the manicured lawns of St Louis and exploring the Missouri Ozarks. Drinking from the springs and foraging for foods in the woods were normal parts of my life.  Being able to recreate that feeling of comfort with Nature became my goal in landscaping.

After school I put that experience into practice first as an estate keeper, designing and maintaining the gardens organically. From there my business grew as I created landscapes for clients in the suburbs, installing rooftop gardens in downtown Chicago and cofounding the Midwest Ecological Landscaping Association in an effort to create a healthier industry.

A few years later I was called back to Missouri to care for my aging mom. I put the land back into production as an AWA free-range waterfowl and poultry farm for 10 years, raising the animals in harmony with the land.

I moved to the Durand area in Wisconsin in 2020 and am excited to be creating landscapes again, incorporating native plants and designing for resiliency as our climate changes.

Whether I am farming or landscaping, my goal has always been to work with the natural environment instead of against it, allowing me to create spaces that contribute to overall well-being and health.
